Fiberfull Muffins Print E-mail
Mix together:  1 ¼ cups freshly milled wheat flour (any type)
1 ¼ cup rolled oats
¼  cup golden flax seed
¾ cup raisins
1/2 cup demerara sugar
¾ tsp. cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
 
Combine in separate bowl:  1 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
3 tablespoons oil
1 egg
½ cup milk
 
Add dry ingredients to wet. Fill greased muffin cups with batter.  Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.  Makes one dozen.
